Bush VS Kerry 2004 : The Real Issues
This post is going to focus on the real issues at stake when you vote in a few days time. We're not going to look at their military records (or lack of thereof), we're not going to look at "he said she said you said that I rock" and we're not going to try find out which one of the candidates has the biggest dick (although popular opinion points to that being Bush) It was hard to find out what they stood for, either because of meaningless slogans or vague statements.

Bush's stances are:
- the economy requires low taxes for those earning more then 200000$ to ensure growth and jobs
- gay marriage is a federal issue and should be banned by constitutional amendment
- guns rights are constitutionally garanteed and must be protected
- America can stand on her own two feet
- American interventions are necessary to spread freedom and democracy
- help american drug companies (keeping jobs but driving prices up)

Kerry's stances are:
- the economy requires less taxes americans earning less 200000$ and a rollback for those earning more then 200000$ to ensure consumers have more buying power
- gay marriage is a state issue
- no one needs an AK47
- America will intervene when there is a clear and present danger, she will submit her foreign interventions to veto when there is not
- Foreign interventions make America and american values hated, more pressure needs to be put on diplomatic non-proliferation
- allow more foreign drug companies to compete against American ones (possibly losing jobs, but driving prices down)

Indistinguishable stances:
- Education "MOREMOREMORE"
- N.Korea "let China do it"
- Draft "NO"
- Deficit "Um.. our kids will pay for it"

I hope that was fair and balanced, I hope I got all the main points. Just look at these points and decide which candidate has the most you agree with.
