Is there a profound natural order of society, culture and government that is now available for the world to take advantage of? Is there a bonding-oneness-completion for all humanity being realized? Are we to, finally, achieve a world of peace, unity and respect along with the highest level of individual freedoms and rights and finally defeat the all-pervasive tendency towards an authoritarian-totalitarian-oligarchy (rule by the rich, powerful or the elite) government menace? Yes, indeed, there is and we are!
Simply put, with the high degree of education, experience, consciousness and communications practiced and available to the peoples of the world now, this higher 'common ground' is now becoming all consuming. There is even talk of very special children born since the 1980's who are here to help lead the world out of its miserable state. The world's advancing consciousness will not be stopped!
This state of perfect law and order has been written about in ancient Greece, renaissance Europe, the founding of the USA and a substantial amount since. Even many spiritual/religious movements have referred to it, most notably, Christian Catholics (www.acton.org/publicat/books/beyond/hmention1.html) and some Protestant groups (http://www.famguardian.org/TaxFreedom/CitesByTopic/NaturalLaw.htm). It is viewed as the very foundation of the highest and best society for all humankind and all it is, is the right to life, liberty, property and the pursuit of happiness combined with resolute virtue/justice/honesty/honor/(tough) love being above all earthly law-error riddled human law. It is the obvious conclusion that all government is at the consent of ALL the governed (absolute minority protection and proportional representation-representation down to 1% of the vote-no tyranny of the majority (www.worldpolicy.org/globalrights/democracy/abcs.html) and if it is not then actions need to be taken immediately. A name given to this type of social system is original-ethical capitalism, the essence of the founding of America. The reason I call it original-ethical is that in the US, corporations were severely limited by the states until 1886 when they obtained super 'personhood' by MISTAKE/ACCIDENT from the US Supreme Court (www.crforum.com/theft.shtml). These limitations were placed on them because of the power they wielded and due to the fact that unbridled capitalism tends toward greed, corruption, excesses to the public or worse as seen in the US in the 1800's and early 1900's. Corporations were forced by the states to show social good and to do no harm to individuals and were only given a license to exist for a limited period of time and their legal identity could be removed at any time for any violations of their public trust.
This brings us to ask, are most Americans peaceful and happy? Not especially and why is that? Is it because many are hiding behind their materialistic lifestyle from governmental, political doubletalk and the rather inane society and culture we have compared to the rest of the world? Where did it come from? It is from the evils of unadulterated capitalism, which is the basis of this country, is it not? Of course it is because it is exactly opposite to our true nature of bountiful love in our hearts and souls. Greed is the motto of the US; it is blazoned across many of the corporate logos you see. Some lawyers (10x per capita of any other nation) and above the law corporations have done much of this to America. Pitiful and shameful indeed! We also need to search our souls and ask if there are enough resources available to all the peoples of the planet for everyone to have access to a happy, peaceful, productive and chosen lifestyle. The answer is yes, quite simply, even if we have to expand to outer space, which will have to be done soon, anyways, because of the planets population constraints. The other side of this is an aspect of economics that says without the Federal Reserve and the (fractional reserve) banking system in the US and similar systems in most countries the whole world would have access to wealth creation, very intriguing premise don't you think? It would stop legal usury worldwide. (Further study needs to be done in this area of economics because a wealth of information is available and it is quite complicated. Presently, the following appear to be the major options in this arena: 1- government issue money at no interest and institute 100% reserve banking (www.themoneymasters.com/), 2- sustainable economics/environment, LETS, time dollars, local 'currencies' (www.sane.org.za/, www.neweconomics.org/gen/m1_i1_aboutushome.aspx), 3- non hoard able money or depreciating cash (www.userpage.fu-berlin.de/~roehrigw/gloetzl/howand.htm), 4- mutual credit banking (www.appropriate-economics.org/materials/fiatfun.html) and 5- instead of taxes, the government creates money at 10% of the amount created by banks for its expenses (www.newciv.org/whole/monetarysystem.html). Capitalism is the economic base of the world that drives the planet so why not make it ethical capitalism and harness it to bring the planet to complete fruition?
What is the best, well-known government/social system on the planet today? In all likelihood, it is the Swiss system because it is capitalistic, Swiss citizens are well paid and they love their country. Why is this so? It is because they have a confederated democracy that leaves much of the governmental functions and powers to the 22 Cantons or states. The Federal Government handles the issues that relate the country to the rest of the world such as foreign affairs, security, international trade, finance, or the ones that the Cantons have turned over to the national government such as environmental concerns. The autonomy of the Cantons is pivotal to Swiss citizen support and approval. It is not at all surprising that the Swiss took the original constitution of the US and adapted much of it to their use. The confederation aspects are similar to the powers of the states in the US before the civil war and the election of US Senators from the States was turned over to popular vote.
Before we go too much further, let us talk about the apparent truism that all governments get bigger and/or more tyrannical. (The verdict on the Swiss Government is still out since the Federal aspects of it were not formed until 1848.) The tendency is towards a continual loss of power/rights of the individual and the states to the Federal bureaucracy and tax increases ad infinitum. Once the trend towards socialism or any collectivism (a group's desires takes precedence over the rights of the individual) start is there any turning back? It does seem to be the case that once a National/Federal Government gets big it does tend to stay that way due to those obtaining benefits from the structure pushing to perpetuate their gains and power.
Now, getting back to the contentedness of the Swiss populace, how does this relate to the governmental apathy and citizen discontent of the rest of the world? Well, the difference is essentially this: governmental satisfaction is directly correlated to the amount of say people have in protecting their individual and group rights. The Swiss confederation helps this but proportional representation assures this. As a whole, the rest of the governments on the planet are fairly collectivist in nature. The more collectivist the government the more authoritarian and the more an oligarchy it is. Collectivist definitions are as follows: communism has self-abnegation for the sake of the masses, fascism has self-abnegation for the sake of the nation, Nazism has self-abnegation for the sake of 'race', socialism has self-abnegation for the sake of the people, liberalism has self-abnegation for the sake of the poor, conservatives have self-abnegation for the sake of tradition. All have an emphasis on denying the self and restricting individual freedoms. (Some say that they all have some degree of social dissociation, repression and reaction formation psychologically which is exactly counter to proper individuation in happy, healthy and well adjusted people according to the texts.) Democracy in its pure state is a collectivist tyranny of the majority with no individual rights. The way the US was originally set up it was a Republic with a high degree of individual rights.
What is the least collectivist political/social system? Anarchy and capitalism-libertarian would be in this category. Anarchy is self-government; capitalism-libertarian would, essentially, limit governmental functions to protection from crime, defense and supporting a court system. The main problem with these least or no collectivist systems is who takes care of the people who can't take care of themselves and what about monopolies, market manipulation and de facto 'rule' by the rich, immoral, corrupt and deceitful? Is there an ethical/moral/enlightened/liberated maximum individual rights/least collectivist form of government? Yes, even though the Swiss government is doing quite well it does seem to be drifting towards a large Federal government and some oppressiveness. Therefore, the question is really, what modifications can be made to the original US and Swiss model governments that will liberate us from the lower nature of elected officials and the controlling nature of groups? It has to be ethical capitalism/confederated democracy with a premium on competitive local, regional or state government and equal rights for all different size governmental units. This ethical capitalism needs competing regional/localized government where people can have the type of government they want and live with the people they like and have diverse political parties to represent EVERYONE and to further all our desires and dreams so that we can all be as happy as we choose to be. (The other best governments in the world with proportional representation, diverse political parties, the highest degree of freedom and that are doing well economically are Ireland, Iceland, Netherlands and Finland but they are all trying to come to grips with the tendency towards excessive taxation and the low productivity of socialism.)
So, what would this mean for the US and would it require going back to the original constitution and starting all over? Yes, unless something along the lines of the following occur: 1-absolute minority proportional representation is initiated, 2-the tyranny/monopoly of the Republican and Democratic political parties is stopped, 3-the 50 states go back to their original constitutions and give the Federal government no power that they cannot later rescind or have equal rights to and let the courts mediate the differences (the greater good of the most people is mob rule and tyranny-the only role of government is to protect the individual, the only one that needs protection because everyone else has their group!), 4-illicit 'greater than the individual' corporations/multinationals be subject to some pre 1880's legal status and morality, 5- discontinuing legislation that is not concise and written in plain, easily understood English and non legalese (triple double talk, back speak, absolute flip flop summersault English), 6- dissolution of the Federal Reserve and the banking industry usury rates of interest which have limited wealth to the few and placed America and its people at ridiculous levels of debt and poverty, and 7- understanding that there is a Win/Win solution for every 'problem' instead of confrontation, right/wrong, black/white, us/them, deception, etc. This is what the founders of the US originally intended. If that is not possible then the only constitution acceptable to the most people would be back to a state/regional/local community based government that the US started with because no one could agree on anything more. It would boil down to the least objectionable constitution for the most amount of people. Competition in government is the only hope of the US to survive long term. The way to get approval for this superior constitution is to let people who oppose it govern themselves and to let any size area government secede. This is a perfect balance of power. It is very simple indeed. Competition in government is the champion of the world and Switzerland is the best example with a union that works and that has proportional representation. A proliferation of vital and responsive political parties will ensue and demand and assure protection and essential rights for all. The founding fathers of the United States worked so long ago for this perfect outcome. This handles their righteous fears of demagoguery and is the ideal embodiment of their system of competing States as is now clear.
We all know, however, that the chances of ever getting something like this done in the US are very slim indeed, as things stand now. This is due to the controlling power interests of the money elite and the monopoly-tyranny of the Democratic and Republican parties. Therefore, a new political party is necessary of 'common ground' to join America's fragmented 'third (political) parties' and the majority of US Citizens who have no effective voice. The political party will also need to join with the other political parties and peoples of the world in a 'World Peoples Forum' for a free people's world coalition, as this may be the last resort way to change and influence holdout/renegade/runaway/tyrannical governments of the world. The world forum envisioned will need to consider world citizenship and virtual political party citizenship (a world of competing political parties instead of nations?!) where one will be able to live anywhere in the world and retain all one's rights. The world forum is also needed as a balance to the totalitarian leanings of the current United Nations, which is leading to a one world manipulated government better known as the New World Order a la George Bush Sr.
Regional/local community government is the only place to start from so as to never give (regional/state)/federal/world governments and inch of authority that one cannot take back or have equal rights to or be able to neutralize, otherwise, it will ALWAYS lead to totalitarianism in any of its various guises. Competing governments is the only solution. This also conveniently solves the entire government purse string problem with all government revenues being levied and collected regionally/locally. This method would also determine the best areas/communities to live in quickly and all other areas would have to compete for business and residents. All localities/regions will operate at peak efficiency. Just as competition is great for business, it is perfect for government! The result is great communities for everyone or else people would leave and live somewhere else. Wonderful!
Now onto where the bonding/oneness/completion comes from and where it goes to. It comes from humans apparently being some sort of extremely complex and vast entity/oneness at one time and our conscious and subconscious desire to return to that harmonious condition for what else is highest love?!
Next time we will talk about whether martial law is imminent in the US if George Bush Jr. is about to loose the election this fall and about the ramifications of internet censorship and of the extent of government spying and its future. Like we have talked about in other places on this website about this being a work in progress, please get back to us on your feedback and suggestions. We are all in this together!

the stock market would be dependent on the economic course taken. the optimal way would be to introduce the best alternative economic system and make it optional and thereby forced to prove itself. if an economic system is worthy it will do exceptionally well and businesses will flock to it. stability is the key in economics for business to do well. the alternate system chosen would need to cater to business as well as the rampant economic inequality of the masses. reese
