Star Trek - Over the Moon or Spaced Out?

I am thinking that a lot of you either love or hate Star Trek-

I confess to being a trek junkie! I love all the series although I coninually miss every damned episode of Enterprise. It is all good with the exception of a few films. man o man I am asking myself why am I wasting time not watching Star Trek? I have no idea I guess because I always miss those few episodes I have not seen and my collection of tapes is chaotic at best.
I could go on and on telling you about my favorite episodes but I would rather read what you have to say- so tell me what you like or don't like about it- and why.

Series - Mine is TNG by far

Episodes - my Faorite ones include, the best of both worlds, Unity, Pegasus, Any one with Q and All Good Things.

Characters - Q is my Faorite, then I like every single main character the same..MMMmmmmm Deanna......... MMMMmmm.......Vash.........

Movie - I like the latest one the best. Inserrection.

Quotes - Make it so........Mr.Worf, Fire......Indubably my dear Data.

-My favorite series is DS9 i reaaly love it the characters were so well developed the only dissapointment was the last couple of episodes they faltered there.
-Favorite epuisodes: All good things, Trials and Tribulations, A far off distant Star, Looking for Parmac' in all the wrong places, who Mourns for morn, Yesterday's Enterprise
Favorite Characters- Picard, Data, Sulu, Kirk, Kim, Pars, Sisko, Miles Obrien, Odo, Brunt FCA
-Favorite movie- Wrath of Khan and Generations Ireally liked that one... and TREKKIES!
-Favorite Quote "Damn it Jim I'm a doctor not an escalator"

Star trek wish- That they would make a movie about Captain Sulu and the Excelsior.

I really like O'Brien man, he makes me laugh every damn time.

I kinda always wanted the doc to say...."Damnit Jim I am a doctor not a physcian."

Stupid but I always wanted him to say that.

I was tempted to say O'brien was my absolute favorite but that is to hard to choose- he is intersting I think because he is so real- he is not super human in any way - it is easy to relate to him - he is "uncomplicated".

I must confess also to be an incurable Star Trek action figure collector. The size of my collection is staggering but hey I love it! I love toys in general especially action figures- I have done a bunch of pictures and hope to post them soon for some feedback so keep your eyes peeled folks.

Well I have a star trek card game collection of un-surpassable amout.

Many sets with many doubles of all the rare cards.

I actually have the onlu Ultra rare card.


I love TNG man I know everything about it

I have spent many an hour watching trek some questions for you other fans:
Does Dr. Pulaski Irritate you?
Does Wesley Crusher Annoy you?
The Borg were so cool in TNG but then when First contact came out they were sort of ruined would you agree?
There are always numerous continuity problems in Trek does this bother you as well?
and have you ever been to Vulcan?

I hated that annoying bitch!

Wesley was cute as in get the hell away from me boy.

They sure did make the borg look invincible in the series and then they knwo exactly how to blow them up? Why didnt they do that (with picards help of course) before the movie?

You know, there are many many loop holes but all is well cause it can all happen in space/time continum.

Vulcan..........ahh no.


After All good things when Q took picard back to the beginning of life on earth, space/time was proved to me to have no meaning in the series. Meaning that all the quirks are explained to be logical because it is possible as shown by Q.

It seems many people get stuck on the whole continuity problem I say who cares. Trek is such a fantastic stimulant to the mind there are so many issues that are explored in it.

It is a bit frustrating for some time I have tried to find the episodes I always manged to miss there are about 10 to 15 I have never seen- I hope the DVD sets come down in price I would love to aquire them or at least rent them.

Vulcan is a small town in Alberta Canada and there is a huge model od the enterprise there kind of cool there is a convention there every year as well.

Holy shit, I never knew that.


I gotta check that out someday.

Trekkies is a fantastic documentary about the world of Star Trek A must see for all fans. Anyone seen that?

Have any of you (I am going out on limb here hoping for more than 1 other reader) seen Trekies the documentary or Free enterprise- both about Trek both Hilarious!

I don't like the oldest series or the newest series.

Anyone else have any feeling regarding Trek good or bad?
