Yeah! I agree with you Emerald. Let's all wear mood rings.

Women are not evil; they're just careful about the guys they pick. This doesn't just apply to women only.

Wyote, you said you can't understand women. Ever try speaking to them? Or reading between the lines? Or understand how society expects them to behave?

I've been able to understand men a little more (notice the word little) because I learned about how society expects men to be buffed, beer and car loving, confident, and rugged. It makes men want to assert themselves as superior because this is what society teaches them. Women, on the other hand, thanks to all those stupid commercials with pretty women who get confidence from their make up and moms who just love cleaning the house, are expected to look pretty, act shy, and care about finding a good man. I mean, when does the triumphant music come on in a lot the shows that educate you as a kid? When the guy gets the girl (notice the word gets) or the girl impresses the guy with her new dress.

But going back to the mind games issue- I hate it too, but I ignore it because there's no point in dealing with them. They get fun from grabbing your attention or making you feel inferior.

i probably dont understand women because i dont find cars interesting, i dont drink, and i have quite the gut and really couldnt care less about it. i have just the same pressures to be the ideal man as women have to be beautiful, graceful, intelligent yadda yadda yadda.... quite frankly it sickens me when women think they need to be perfect... no one is perfect, not even the "perfect people."

if all women feel so much pressure to be so many different things and let it affect them so much... well i just feel sorry for them, they need to learn how to live life.

oh yea, and ive never spoken to a women face to face. i just sit here in front of my computer all day looking at porn and picking at my puss filled sores.

Wyote, I don't think I needed that image in my head this afternoon.

Everyone knows they can't be perfect, but they are in the race to be perfect. It's hard not to care about the way you look when everywhere you turn, you are bombarded with advertisements about dieting and lingerie, gorgeous single women on too many online dating sites. Also, girls are taught at a very young age to care about how they look, so it's hard to overcome your earliest mentalities. Belive me, I got sick of all this pressure. In fact, I never cared about looking pretty at all, but something inside of me makes me makes me check the mirror before I go out.

If you've never spoken to a woman face to face, why are you being so judgemental!

Mind games are covers for insecurities, they are defenses, and or abuses if used in malice.

They generally aren't intentional, it goes hand in hand with a society that thinks white lies are ok, which many on this site agree with, so enjoy.

my "face to face" comment was making fun of the fact that i have been so judemental. i think because i have dealt with so many women throughout the years i have every right to be the way i am. i understand how people operate very well. its what i do and what ive always done... im not just saying this because i think it myself, people comment about it all the time.

if men and women alike ignored all the advertising and bullshit that society wants us to be wed be a hell of a lot better off... women seem more easily influenced by it and also are affected on a much deeper level by it for some reason.

ps - i have no puss filled sores currently

Wyote, both sexes seem equally affected to me, no matter what they both feel they are getting the shaft. It's also obvious that women do get the shaft (pun inevitable) due to a traditional subserviant role (something known to piss anyone off).

(Note: any posistion of responsibility is inherently subserviant, thus all feel screwed.)

Both sexes also have physical and psychological strengths and weaknesses (hopefully balancing) and tend to dominate their equally important respective roles.

Roles may change, and eventually people too perhaps, but for now, we are all bright, strong, and passionate as well as dark, weak, and apathetic, and usually a little gassey.

after i made my post i started thinking about it, and you are right - both sexes are equally affected (in terms of number of people).

the thing is, women are generally more outwardly expressive... they are taught that its ok to share your feelings and that whole bit. whereas men keep things within themselves and dont let it show if something is troubling them... "real men dont cry" another result of society and its bullshit.

i still think that women are affected on a much deeper level than men though. its something i cant really put in to words.

Ya, its tough to say, I'm sure it swings to both extremes at different points like most things seem to.

Who knows for sure, but an idea about your point of the deeper affect may have something to do with the honesty and or simple indulgence or acceptance of the particular emotion.

Making it comparable to the socially accepted male expression of anger (which like female emotional expression face changes due to equal rights, political correctness, and co-ed environments) or some form of dominance, in many respects. A point only made to look at the intensity and honesty or even strategic use of a stereotypical gender associated behavior.

I'm left to wonder if perhaps you are referring to the "drama-queen" phenomena. Between sincere distress and blatant theatre this is one can be confusing, but usually steers to attention withdrawal (which is gender nuetral-though girls hold the stereotype crown, or tiara, last I noticed anyway)

there could be a whole new thread about the "drama queen phenomena."

what i am talking about is a more deep rooted hatred that women have for the fact that they have to look and/or act specific ways according to society. men and women are both ashamed of themselves for various things, but women have some sort of extra hate attached to it, where as men are just generally angered or saddened.

Lets make one thing clear :

Head Games:
I missed the whole point till now I guess but why a lady i am trying to hit assumes herself as my sister when I said my sister is learning German right after she said she is learning it

So she becomes my sister in the headgame world and when I say I am 10 years older she starts talking about her father is from the same town I was born in...

and role changing is little complicated, it is sometimes useful..If I want to say I dont want to go out with somebody I tell it to somebody next to her when she plays out to be her...

This is what you guys are talking about right?

Head games could be fun, but only if the two of you are playing. But it could also become tiresome.

It's mostly girls who tend to say one thing, and mean another, and expect you to understand.

Well I meant somthing else , like role playing, it is like shooting a movie...you start acting like me and your friend behaving like my friend ,,you too pick up your roles and youconvey what I said about her thru a code you established..

or better example, you dnot wnat to confront somebody by saying boring and you just refer to someother person as boring in a way that I would understand that I am boring..

another usage is if you want to put somebody down, or have fun you can assign ridicilous objects to somebody..Say if I am the one who is running after you like a dog, you wouldnt say I am a dog but would use "headgame" language or "saddle expression" to convey your message...
