moby, i was vague on purpose, simply to see where it would take people. perhaps i was wrong in doing so, but had i been more specfic you may not have even posted here...? also its very difficult to put into words this "void" im speaking of. wes, you are correct, i see people trying to get satisfaction in all the wrong places... that was my main point to begin with, but i guess it sorta got lost in my ranting sorry about that!

I have thought about it greatly many years ago. I believe it is your other half. I think the bible explains it when Adam was put to sleep, a rib was removed from him to make a woman. That is why women fulfil our life. they might not need us, but we need them and are not complete without them. At least that's the way I figured it. Now my wife is a school teacher and she says that men and women have the same amount of ribs. Another example of how the bible is not factual yet it is able to teach us.

so are we talking about emotions or about free time ? i'm a little confused now....
and okcitykid, i was just thinking, adam should've just lived there all by himself and reproduced like bacteria - by cell devision, he would'be be bored and he'd feel complete and at this point we wouldn't have any divorses or anything - everyone would've been happy by himself

If it would have it could have but it didn't. Oh well, we just got to live with what is and forget about those what ifs. Those what ifs will get you all bumbed out.

When I was a truck driver you would have teams, they could haul loads further faster legally. A lot of teams are made up of gay or lesbian couples. You would watch them in the truck stops. One is always feminine and one is always masculine.

i am speaking more about the emotional side of things MiA, but i suppose free time does play a part in it as well... hadnt really thought about that actually

yeah, that's what i thought at first Wyote, and then these people came and started telling how they spend their free time , and didn't realize they just confused the SHIT out of me lol

Void... yeah, sure, I've felt it. yet it isn't the void, per se. It's called yearning. An emptiness that you know can be filled by having that very something. The void must be a yearning for some unidentifiable thing, huh?

deletion - yes, i simply call it a void because i dont know what else to call it. for me it is deeper than just a yearning however...
