Just wanted to know what everyones favorite teams are and who they think are in the running this year for Lord Stanley!

C'mon guys, I know you know that with the recent trade of Selane and Kariya, as well as Worrell and Kono, the Avs have to take home the cup this year. I just can't wait until we play the Wings.

I CANT EITHER! aebie has been holdin his own this year, i was a bit nervous when Roy left, but then i remembered, a teams success doesnt rely on one person! AVES RULE!

My prediction- leafs over vancouver in 6 for the cup and that Roy will make some sort of lame cumback attempt.

It isn't hard to get to the playoffs when your team has big names like the Aves.

But where is the fun in that, I prefer molding a team together from younger players.

A lot of teams mold players and they get a great opportunity to play - then they can demand a lot more money and be shipped off to a larger market team for young players and dreaft picks...

Hey I think the allstar game should be Canada vs. the world- The North America vs the world setup was dumb and I am glad that came to an end even if it was for stupid political reasons.

Also there is some stupid hockey movie comming out about the 1980 Olympic hockey (US). They claim its the best hockey movie ever obviously they have not seen SLAPSHOT! Man that movie kicks butt!

PLease lord don't let Philadelphia win the cup! or Dallas or Colorado or the Rangers(that would take a true miracle)

That is a good question probably for the same reasons Tampa and Florida have a team....
This year is quite promissing for playoffs there are no clearly dominant teams- so many conders as well-
and how about those Rangers- man they stink again! They pick up every peice of garbadge on the market- they should trade everyone!

aves killed the canucks 9-2, nice morale boost after the beating by the flames, but the game got a bit out of hand
