Tale Of Two Cities
I'm sorry if I'm poluting this forum with educational questions... but I'll give this a shot: I'm reading Tale Of Two Cities by Dickens, and I know the French Revolution occurs within that time period. So what importance does the French Revolution have in the book? And maybe a bit of info on the Revolution? Thanks if anybody can help, it'll make things a little better understood!

A CTL of 1 means that Angelfire is a contributing member of Captain Cynic.
I don't know anything about the book but the French Revolution is summed up to this :
French peasants get angry. French peasants attack nobles in the countryside then the city folk round up the nobles.
Nobles get guillotined.
The "Terreur" happens, revolutionary leaders round up their political (or perceived) foes and try them and guillotine them.
Can't remember how it ends..
