Healthy food/dinner ideas
Hey guys , I am trying to come up with some healty dinner combos that dont take very long to cook. Basically I am looking for are ideas, recipes thoughts you have about what makes a healthy meal?

I am trying to eat healthier right now cause all I have eaten in the past is junk so I am trying to make up for it (1 sec my pizza is ready)

okay as I was saying I need your guys help to get me started on the right path.

hehehe healthier huh ?
i love mashed potatoes and those are really easy to make, i love them with a glass of tomato juice, but that's just me, you can have them with salad and w/e else it is that you eat ( probably some kind of meat)
and i don't know if you ever had hummus, but it always saves me - some pita bread with hummus at tomatoes make a good breakfast lunch and dinner
soup, i don't know how you feel about soup, let me know and i'll get you some recipes
pasta, pasta is so easy to make ! just buy some dried pasta, cook it and add sause from a can ( i normally cook up some onions and then add it up to warm it up and it kinda tastes better that way ), you you cand do the mozzarella tomato pasta - all you need is some fresh mozzarella, balsamic vinegar, bazil, olive oil and tomatoes
or if you like alfredo sause - you buy a can of that and throw in some garlic and spinach on a frying pan for like 3 minutes and then add it to cooked fetucinni (plus fresh grape tomatoes), cover that with warm alfredo and here is another healthy meal

Rice and beans ?
i personally don't like rice, sometimes i eat this stuff though, the beans and spices are already in the bag - just open it, add water and boil 20 minutes
and you could do stir-fried veggies too
and falafels

If you are into veggies they steam real well in the microwave with a little water and only a couple of minutes.

NATURE SANDWITCH:

Whole-wheat bread, peanut butter, honey, wheat germ, raisons and sliced banana. Yum Yum and good go you.

Also, try to have yogurt every day with active cultures, this is very good.

Because the microwave kills all the good emzines in our food, our bodies do not digest foods correctly. The Yogurt will fix this.

Hi there. Iknow a lot of people are prolly recomending salads, so if you find the normal lettus with tomatoes boring you can go for a Waldorf salad. It's made with green apples, sliced chives, celery and if you want you can add walnuts or piune nuts. Although the dressing isnt so helthy... half mayonaise and half plain yougurt... but you can always just go a little easy on the dressing.
