Testing God's infiniteness isnt about Him making a rock to heavy for Him to lift. Because He is limitless, He could not do that. That is to say, you would be putting a limit on Him, if He could not lift it.

The point I am trying to make is that he is limited in either way. A) he can't lift it or B)he can't make it.

To me I think it is impossible for him to make a rock that he can't lift because he can't lift at all. He isn't an actual person so therefor he can't use strength to lift and also, he has no need to lift something if he can just make something in the perfect spot.

Though I see what you are saying, and the one thing I love about this board is that people always come up with stuff that you can't really explain.

(oh and sorry, I shouldn't really say god as he, but it just is easier to type then "it" or god.)

Isaac is new to Captain Cynic and has less than 15 posts. New members have certain restrictions and must fill in CAPTCHAs to use various parts of the site.
The rock question is just a variation on the question "can God outdo herself?" whether or not God can outdo himself is irrelevent regarding the question of limitations becasue if God has a limitation, it is God.
