Well then

Well, a few of you may know that I have recently gotten a new job at a local supermarket. At first I loved the job, things were going great and I could see myself working there for a very long time.

A few things have come to pass where now I am this close ---------->|<------------- to quitting on the spot. I do not want to stay there for even 1 more day. Here's the problem, I have 2 cars I need to upkeep\insurance and a mortgage. If I am to leave this job do I go to another similar job and keep making the same money so that I may survive.

Or do I take a major pay cut and go into the field that I love to do.

I really want to do what I like to do but on the other hand I really like money and what I am doing now as in career field is making me money.


Money :vs: Happiness

That is the true question for this day and age.

Only you can decide that Firebird. Sometimes we don't always get what we want but everything has a reason and you will make the right choice.

Look around there must be something you love to do and get paid well for that job

Well ya see, what I like to do I dont have the experiance right now that is required of me to get paid well. If I work in the field for 5 + years then I will start to make what I make now.

money vs. happiness

ah, i think a lot of us struggle with that question. not all of us have another partner/person that can help us out with the answer.

i think you should talk to your wife. she should want you to be happy as much as (or maybe more?) than you do. figure out your bills/budget together. maybe you should take out a loan and go back to school?

Right now I would give up being happy and doing what I like to do for a job that paid good money!!

It really is a toss up now isnt it?
