The ocean is certainly deep - possibly we can make it deeper with all the soda in this country. Sorry - couldn't help it.

Last night we had a camp fire in the back yard. I'm tearing down this old barn. Just about every weekend we've burning the old wood in a camp fire. It is so cool to sit around the fire and talk about stuff. Imagine many years ago, that used to be a common practice.

you know how pregnant women like weird foods? ie - peanut butter and pickles. well i just tried it out of curiousity... its strangely satisfying.

I don't know why but I am really liking this thread.... Peanut butter and pickes is strangely good indeed! i used to have that as a child- I just can't bring myself to do that now.... One day in the lunch room at work I want to sit down with my luch box open it up and pull out a whole boiled crab nuke it and just devour it like a cave man! - ripping to shreds with no damned utensils then I will let out an ear ripping belch!- yeah... one day....

Try a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with pickles and tarter sauce. Make sure to put the pickles and tarter sauce on the inside of the sandwhich. I actually came up with that one AFTER my son was born instead of while pregnant. LOL

Any ways here's my gripe of the day....

MY COMPUTER WON'T QUIT FREEZING UP DAMN IT.

Every time I turn around these days it's freezing. I do all the scans and defrags like I should, take things off that I don't need anymore and still always freezing. I'm talking like every couple of min some days. Can't wait for that new one to get here!!!

A lot of unnecesary items get put in there and bog down the whole deal.

I R ME I have similar problems to Em but it dosent freeze, its just so darn slow. What stuff should or can I remove from start up menu without it affecting my laptop and how it runs?

If you follow the (instructions included in) link you can remove any program you recognize as unnecesary ie yahoo messenger or a printer it removes it from startup not from your system completely
you should not uncheck
Stillmon
Stillmage monitor
System tray
Task Monitor
Scan Registry
Load power profile
At least that is it for '98 windows
there may be a lot of junk in there...
also check your sytem resources see what that is at I assume your on windows 98 (since you were talking about slow scrolling before in a post)
right click on my compter (desktop) hit properties (new window ) hit performance tab 75% is low anything below that you need to do some work...

type in MSCONFIG
hit the startup tab

Thanks dude but I have crappy Win2000 and I think thats why my laptop is so slow because it was designed for Win98 but accidently installed this onto it so I have to some how reboot it when I get the chance. Plus I dont know how to do that so I have to wait till my BRO comes back from the Navy and get him to look at it seeing it was his computer.
