BTW - My own quote comes from my fears that people like Michael Moore are the 'permitted extremists' and that the public as a whole is placated by seeing/hearing a loud, dissenting voice and thus silencing many others that might have a more radical view to express. As I said, I'm an incurable optimist. And believe me, they've tried to cure me!
